I like it but it has its flaws|Recommended: Yes I like the apartment however there seems to be no insulation to keep the little bit of heat in or to keep noise inside of the apartment. I can hear my neighbors just having regular conversations and every little step sounds like they're walking inside of my apartment. The community is nice and the staff are professional and kind.
Very helpful maintenance crew |Recommended: YesIt is a very nice living environment at the Ellington. Maintenance staff is very helpful and property is well kept. It has been a good experience thus far for living here.
Mellow nice neigborhood and area to live comfortably in|Recommended: Yespretty good a little expensive for me but almost worth it
Very good area and safe|Recommended: Yesyes you will like it .
I am pleased to live here|Recommended: YesI would tell them I love it here We are kinda tucked away in our own community and near great local businesses.
Great Place to Live|Recommended: YesOverall great apartments and community, and is in a good location. I personally love the wood floors and the honeycomb tiles in the bathroom. They have a great charm about them.
One step shy of being amazing |Recommended: YesIt's a nice, large apartment community that is located near a wonderful park golf course. The units all have ample space and hardwood floors. Some of the bathroom and kitchen fixtures need some updating like the tub, kitchen floor, counters and cabinets. However, overall, it has a nice charm in a nice NE neighborhood Great proximity to downtown but far enough away to get away from the traffic, congestion of all the people.
Good location, no in apartment amenities dishwasher, washer dryer . Old out dated bathroom. |Recommended: NoNothing flashy, very basic apartments, good grounds keeping, close to transportation, easy access to freeway, noisy ie street, train, freeway. Feel safe.
Close to perfect|Recommended: YesNOT a typical, cement surrounded apartment. No pool or dishwasher. The apartment is a bit of a faded lady. That said, living here is true neighborhood living. The Rose City Golf Course is across the street. Lots of walking and bike paths. Neighbors are helpful and friendly. Renters are a diverse mix, which is great. Lots of trees and grass. Ample off the street parking. Close to all freeways and public transit. Management is helpful, and any maintenance problems are handled right away. I would definitely recommend.
Wonderful place, high price.|Recommended: YesThe neighbors are kind, the living spaces and fixtures are very nice. There is no dishwasher and rent is high given that utilities are not included.
Ellington Living|Recommended: YesGreat place to live The Ellington has far surpassed our expectations of Portland living. These apartments are spacious, neighbors are friendly, and everything is accessible in MINUTES Should there be an issue, maintenance is almost immediate. They are flexible, friendly, and professional. Prices are reasonable and we enjoy living here.
A Comfy Home|Recommended: YesFor the most part I really like it. It's a very comfortable community in all, the neighbors are all very laid back but to a certain extent they don't take their neighbors comfort into consideration, but that comes with the territory. I think really the only problem I have with this place is there no AC. I keep my windows open to allow circulation which is fine but I'm constantly dusting. I've adjusted though and I'm very happy to call this place home.
I love it here|Recommended: YesVery convenient location and good neborhood
I like the Ellington a lot Thank you |Recommended: YesIt's safe and quiet and super cute.
Okay for the most part.|Recommended: YesWe can hear our upstairs neighbor a lot. Sometimes we hear our neighbors through the shared walls of the bedrooms. All of our maintenance requests have been attended to within 2 days after submitting a request. We have met a lot of our neighbors and find them very friendly. We like the onsite laundries very much. It's much cheaper to do our laundry here in the complex than to use the local laundromat down the street. We wish that the playground hadn't been turned into another parking lot. We were trying to find it shortly after we moved in with 1 of our grandchildren. It's still shown on the map in front of the office as a playground. The grounds keeping company comes in once a week to mow and trim, so it looks nice. The maintenance men are sweeping weekly to keep the walkways and stairs looking nice. They also clean the laundry rooms weekly. We can park in the closest parking area next to our apt most of the time. It's nice not to have an assigned parking lot. The office staff are generally helpful and polite. We haven't lived in an apt for several years, but we like it here for the most part. I wish we had a second door with a patio or small piece of yard. I do like the hardwood and linoleum floors instead of carpet.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, and we apologize for the misunderstanding with our vintage wall map from when the community was called Rose City Village. We will look into replacing it with a more current one to avoid confusing others. When your grandson comes to visit next, Rose City Park, located just 3 blocks away, has a playground as well as additional park features. If you're interested in other suggestions or help finding local amenities, please contact us at the management office and we'll be glad to help you.
